PARK WOD:
Date: Saturday, May 12th
Time: 10am
Location: At this time its Lake Phalen. I still need to check out the location so it could change.
Other:
I am working with the owner of Timberwolf CrossFit to program a WOD but you probably won’t know it until the day of. We are also looking into making this a team event.
You are encouraged to bring your friends who are interested in trying CrossFit. Please let me know how many people you will be bringing.
There will be no class at the gym that day.

CLASS CHANGES:
We have had some request for open gym, and more technique days. Unfortunately, we don’t have the staff to add more classes but we will be making some adjustments to the current schedule. We look to you to give us feedback if you like or dislike the changes.
Fridays:
5pm class is extremely dead lately. Please let us know if it is because of it being Friday or because you cannot make it in time since we do not offer a 6pm. If we have a lot of requests for a later class we can change the schedule that day to have 4:30 & 5:30pm classes.
Open Gym:
This is a time to come in and work on your skills, make up a prior WOD. This is not in addition to an already attended class the same day.

Olympic Lifting/Technique Training:
Saturday 10am classes will be technique training or Olympic Lifting days.
Olympic Lifting classes are classes that will focus on strength and technique in Olympic movements. Classes will be 100% strength based or might include a short metcon after. These classes are for people who have a general knowledge of the movements for that day.
Technique classes are for beginners to intermediate looking to learn or improve their skills in various lifts. If you want to do more CrossFit workouts, it is important that you attend these classes.
This class cannot be taken in addition to the 9am class.

KIDS AREA REMOVED:
You probably have noticed that the children’s area has been removed. Due to the increase in membership and limited usage of the area I have decided to remove it.
In order to keep a safe environment for everyone, children should stay in lobby area. The front door can be locked and Netflix and a table to do artwork is available. If they are on the gym floor during a workout children must be away from areas of exercise and please no food on the gym floor.

MOMMY CLASS ADDED:
The one exception to kids on the gym floor will be the newly added class for mommies. This class will be primarily strength based for two reasons; first strength training needs lots of rest time which will give you time to entertain your children and is more controlled then a metcon situation which makes it easier to be aware of your surroundings. Unfortunately, there won’t be child care.
Classes:
Friday, May 11, 18 & 25th at 10am
This will be a 24 hour notice class and have minimum of two individuals signing up to be open. This class is for woman who are bringing children only.
Dates: June 4th – 9th
Time: There will be multiple times each day, however the exact times are TBD.
Referral Bonus:
You will receive $50 off a month of membership for each friend who signs up for three month contract or greater. Only $50 off per month, if multiple friends sign up you will receive $50 per month for as many months as members you refer.

Beginner OnRamp Classes Start Tuesday May 1st
Whether you are an elite athlete or someone looking to take their first step to improving your fitness to a new level, CrossFit White Bear is for you.
The four intro classes will teach you the basics of CrossFit while exposing you to its intense and measurable results. Each class leads you through a tutorial on how to properly do functional movements that involve pushing, pulling, squatting and lifting. Once you complete the tutorial portion of the class you will try out your new moves in a high-intensity workout.

OPEN GYM:
Saturday April 14th at 10am will be an open gym time. There will be a coach on premise to help out but this is not a normal class. Feel free to make up a WOD for prior weeks that you may have missed. No class sign up is necessary.
REFERRAL OFFER:
Reminder that you receive $50 off a month of membership if you refer a friend who signs three month contract or greater. If you have someone who is interested they can come by at 10am during open gym on Saturday. Please email in advance.

OnRamp Beginner Classes Start

There are a total of four classes and every class needs to be taken in order. Once you complete the four required classes you may join regular group classes.
