Our Boot Camp will be based off CrossFit methodology with a specialized focus on stability training, randomized functional movements using your body weight and cardiovascular endurance.
Q.When can I get started?
A. We recommend that you stop by for a FREE workout. If a butt kicking boot camp workout is for you then sign up for Boot Camp OnRamp classes. Once you have completed the 4 mandatory Boot Camp OnRamp classes you can join the classes.
Q.Why do I need to do an OnRamp for Boot Camp?
A. Although most movements are body weight exercises we want to make sure you know how to do the movements properly. It is also a good way to warm you up to the intensity of the Boot Camp classes. If you are worried that you won’t get a great workout, don’t be, you will do a short intense workout at the end of all your OnRamp classes!
Q. What type of exercises can I expect to do?
A. We use too many exercises to explain them all but below is an example of a few:
• 1/4-1/2 mile sprints
• Burpees
• Rope Climb
• Air Squat
• Rowing
• Dumbbell Thruster
• Lunges
• Wall Ball
We recommend checking out CrossFit exercise demonstrations.
What Benefits You Can Expect from Boot Camp:
• Core strength and a tighter back side
• Nutrition education
• Function that will apply to any sport as well as every day life
• Accountability of goals for maximum results
• Increase in strength and cardiovascular endurance
• Increase in coordination and agility
• Have a blast working out with like-minded, motivated people. Boot camps are scalable to each participant’s level. All movements are scalable via modified body movements or modified weights. In addition, clients are able to dictate just how much or how little they want to push themselves.
Q. How long do the classes usually last?
A. Roughly an hour long. The first part of the class is designated for stability training and the remainder will focus on resistance and cardiovascular training.
Q. I’m not sure I have the strength or cardiovascular endurance to do Boot Camp.
A. Sure you do! Everything is scalable for an individuals needs. We just ask you try your hardest.
Q. I’m interested in CrossFit classes too, can I do both?
A. You can. However, you need to complete the CrossFit OnRamp prior to joining those classes. We recommend 4-6 weeks of Boot Camp before moving onto CrossFit.
Q. I have completed a CrossFit OnRamp at another location and would like to take part in both CrossFit and Boot Camp classes. Do I need separate memberships for both classes?
A. Nope, if you can prove to us you know the basics of CrossFit movements you can attend both classes.
